In Teen Workshops, 15-18 teen participants from around Chicagoland spend the day at the Art Institute getting to know other teens, exploring the museum, and working with a teaching artist in the studio to create their own works of art. One fall Teen Workshop will explore Making Place: The Architecture of David Adjaye to gather inspiration for a studio project. Themes that relate to the needs and interests of a diverse group of youth will be foregrounded and projects will emphasize experimentation with new materials, processes and ideas.
