CCA & Dan Michaelson (Linked by Air): Archaeology of the Digital, the EPUBs

Dan Michaelson and invited guests discuss the series of digital publications complementing the ongoing research and exhibition project Archaeology of the Digital, in a conversation moderated by Albert Ferré, CCA Director of Publications.

These epubs disseminate and enhance the experience of the born-digital material included in the projects selected for the exhibition. With layout and a custom CMS designed by New York–based studio Linked by Air, the publications are heavily illustrated with photos, drawings, renderings, videos, and interactive 3D models around the text of conversations between series editor Greg Lynn and the architect of each project. Following the first ten epubs, a new group of digital publications is now underway, beginning with the Interrupted Projections installation by Neil Denari and the Carbon Tower by Peter Testa and Devyn Weiser.
