Join Amanda Williams on Sunday, October 4, as she culminates her Color(ed) Theory series in a site-specific participatory painting of the Flamin’ Red Hots house. This is the final in Williams' series of 8 'colored' houses that make use of a palette frequently experienced in Black urban areas on Chicago's south side. Painting participants will also be encouraged to sign up to return to the site a few weeks later and engage in a spirited discussion about the project and potential for the site post-demolition. The event is free and open to the public but capacity is limited. RSVP required. To attend, please sign up here.
