OFFICE Kersten Geers David van Severen + Bas Princen

Brussels, Belgium; Rotterdam, Netherlands

OFFICE was founded in 2002 in Brussels by Kersten Geers and David Van Severen, and produces idiosyncratic architecture, which includes utopian and unrealized projects. The practice was awarded the Belgian Prize for Architecture in 2008, and the Silver Lion at the 2010 Venice Architecture Biennale. Geers is also a founding member and editor of San Rocco magazine, and frequently publishes essays on architecture in a variety of publications. Van Severen currently teaches architectural design at the Académie d'Architecture in Versailles.
