Norman Kelley

Chicago and New York, United States

Norman Kelley is an architecture and design collaborative led by Thomas Kelly in Chicago and Carrie Norman based in New York and Chicago. Their work, which includes site-specific drawings, uses disruptive optics to re-examine architecture's relationship to perception. Since opening an office in 2012, Norman Kelley's work has been published and exhibited widely, most recently at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2014, the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts, and the American Academy in Rome. Kelley is currently assistant professor at the UIC School of Architecture, while Norman is a senior design associate with SHoP Architects in New York.
