Mass Studies is a practice led by Minsuk Cho in Seoul, working on architectural projects that different contexts, scales, and programs. Cho is an active speaker at design and architecture symposiums worldwide, and has been exhibiting his work since the late 1990s. For the Gwangju Design Biennale in 2011, directed by Seung H-Sang and Ai Weiwei, Cho co-curated Named Design with Anthony Fontenot. He was Commissioner of the Korean Pavilion at the 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale, winning the Golden Lion for the Best National Pavilion.
