Andrés Jaque is founder of the Office for Political Innovation, a practice that develops architectural projects using research, performance and installations. Ikea Disobedients is the first architectural performance to have been acquired by the Museum of Modern Art, New York. The practice received the Silver Lion for the best research at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2014 for SALES ODDITY: Milano 2 and the Politics of Direct-to-Home TV Urbanism. Jaque is Visiting Professor at Princeton University’s School of Architecture, and Advanced Design Professor at Columbia University’s GSAPP.
